Heartland Plant Selected as ACEC 2021 Most Outstanding Project of the Year

ACEC selected Heartland’s Evaporation Facility at the Three Rivers Regional Landfill as the most unique, innovative, and socially impactful engineering project of 2021. The facility evaporates leachate on-site using engine exhaust from an existing LFG to Energy plant, enabling Three Rivers to simultaneously establish control over its leachate management, make a positive ESG impact, and reduce overall landfill operating costs.
